--THE NEW NEIGHBORHOODS ON ROYAL CARIBBEAN’S ICON OF THE SEAS--
Thrill Island will be home to Category 6, the largest waterpark at sea, with 6 record-breaking slides! They include some of the longest, tallest, and fastest slides in the world. It will also feature Crown's Edge. Part skywalk, part ropes course, and part thrill ride.
The new Chill Island is a 3-deck slice of paradise. It will feature a total of 4 pools, including Swim & Tonic, the line’s first swim-up bar at sea. Royal Bay Pool is the largest pool at sea. Cloud 17 is an adults-only retreat with a secluded pool and a cantilevered whirlpool, and Cove Pool is a serene, infinity-edge pool.
Surfside is specifically designed for families. In this neighborhood, adults can soak up the endless views at Water’s Edge pool while keeping an eye on the kids at the adjacent Splashaway Bay and Baby Bay. Surfside will also feature dining, a bar, a carousel, and an arcade.
Tucked away at the aft of the ship, the Hideaway can be found 135 feet above the ocean. It combines the vibes of a beach club with the first suspended infinity pool at sea.
By day, the AquaDome is a tranquil oasis where guests can take in 220-degree views and an awe-inspiring waterfall. By night, this area becomes a vibrant place with restaurants, bars, and aqua shows at the next-level AquaTheater.
The Royal Promenade has been elevated even further on Icon of the Seas. It will feature floor-to-ceiling ocean views. It will also be home to The Pearl and the largest ice arena to date, Absolute Zero.
The latest rendition of the Central Park neighborhood will be more lush and livelier than ever before, with more ways to dine and be entertained.
: Icon will also feature the largest Suite Neighborhood in the fleet. This Neighborhood will be three decks of luxury with a private pool, whirlpool, a new Mediterranean dining venue, a multilevel sundeck called The Grove, and a 2-story Coastal Kitchen.
