I think Orfi has the best backhand technique of any player on the tour today, male or female. The back corner close-up shots in the video show that she generates a fearsome whip at the moment of contact even when space is tight. I wish my swing did that!

very glad to see the comments here in admiration of amina rather than complaining about either 1) her "predictable" style (seriously lol?) 2) her handshakes (who cares? her opponents sure don't so why do you) or 3) her blocking, which is no worse than many others and nowhere near OG asal. she is amazing and if we can't celebrate prodigious talents in the sport then what's the point of being a fan! This is very rarely to see Sherbini lost to any young player which proved Orfi is really special and talented. Had to admit she is just like Asal rising but maybe more talented than Asal, think about how young she is right now … can’t believe such young age and reach these highly skilled…

Amazing match. Orfi is basically smashing the ball so hard that she's confining opponents to the back third of the court. If her body holds up, the only way to beat her is going to be to take unbelievable risks with deep volley drops and hope they land.

Sad to say that we've seen the best of Elsherbini and she's on the downward side of the curve this past year, maybe two. Just looks slower than before as if injuries have caught up with her.

I tried watching this full match on squash TV but for some reason, got 14 minutes of just Joey, Lisa, and Saurav talking. But anyway, congratulations to.Orfi, a remarkable young talent who will eventually be number one for sure.

The right player won this match...ElSherbini let herself down dreadfully by often looking for points rather than winning them which is not a good look at all for someone of her considerable experience....Orfi won....and poetic justice prevailed.
