Cour 2 was absolutely amazing. It’s crazy that we have about 70-80 chapters left in the arc if I’m not mistaken and 26 episodes left. Based on how this entire arc has been adapted so far, we’re gonna a ton of new contents in cour 3 and 4🔥

i hate when people call things that have been established and used in the series before, "asspulls". the same thing happened when the quincies used vollstandig in this cour. quilgue ope already showed and explained it to us in cour 1. auswahlen was also explained to us in cour 1 and is the reason ichigo and uryus mother died.

I feel that Yhwach has been one of the biggest MVP's in TYBW Arc, albeit unwittingly.
I mean, he created a culture of distrust, infighting and egotism within the Wandenreich, while also killing his subordinates via the absurd "If you lose, you die"-policy. And here, he is using the Sternritters as expendable fuel reserves to revive himself and his Royal Guards via Auswählen. Yhwach really is his own worst enemy, and this betrayal will come as a similar shock to his army as Aizen's betrayal did to Harribel.

The inspiration for the Auswahlen clearly comes from the biblical Rapture of Souls, in which the Chosen grow wings and ascend, while the Sinners are left behind.
Kubo doesn't miss with his religious symbolisms.
