Easy ways to wash and detail any motorcycle in 30 minutes. I use a pressure washer and foam lance cannon but you can achieve similar effect with a spray bottle of soap and water. Dry using leaf blower. #r1200gs, #adventurebike

Thanks Ian, we really appreciate it. It’s helpful to see even the basics. Additionally, I love your very dry sense of humor . . . “first you need a dirty motorcycle, doesn’t have to be a GS, can be any kind of motorcycle.“ Hahaha, very funny. ;))/ please allow your dry wit shine through, it will continue to give your channel more and more unique and interesting character. Thanks again, safe travels and take good care. Gratefully, Dennis

Great tutorial..I clean my bikes once a week. Do just about what you show..in my opinion people that don't clean their bikes usually don't maintain them well either

It's amazing how good simple spray on detailer is! However, once a year I wax my bike and polish and shine every little piece on it. Takes about a day and is quite boring but it's 12 years old now and still looks like new.

Hi and thanks for the video. I’ve just taken delivery of a 2017 R1200GS Rallye TE with TFT etc… and you’ve sort of endorsed my thoughts before committing to buying the bike rather than the 1250 which was a little off budget for me, plus the 1200 is a one owner bike with just 4500 miles which is mad. I’ve just got back from a 10 day trip in the Pico’s de Europa, Spain, which when off tarmac on my Explorer XC was ok but the tippyness got on my nerves. For me wanting to up my skills off-road it seems to tick all the boxes. Again thank you very much for your video. Kevin

Please excuse my ignorance but is it safe to get all the electronics wet. Also I don't have a power dryer, would simply using towels to dry off be good enough. Thank you for the videos

Great vid. Im really confused. Some say don’t use pressure washer on motorcycle because it pushes water and dirt and what not into bearings and so on… some say water all together should be avoided as Much as possible….
What is your take on all this?
Thanks!

I have a matte Black Suzuki gsx-s750 and the matte paint makes it a bit more difficult to wash.

I wish I could properly wash my moto. I like in California and we are constantly in drought and if neighbors see anyone using water to wash your car, they will report you... I have to do waterless cleaning. The only time I use water is when I get muddy and even then, I'm very tactical and use wet rags and sponges and don't get to actually spray water on the bike.
