Big respect for Nolan recognizing and publicly giving his opinion on this matter. He knows it is an unnatural boon that has implications of not only becoming game breaking, but also can be seen as a unfair aid when it comes to competition standards. Lesser people would run with it, name and shame other people for calling them out. These types of people would rather seek self validation through unethical means than to face reality and admit what they're doing is wrong. These factors should definitely be considered when society is at that point when we see more successful neural aid usage.

I think the only real limiting factor is the bandwidth of data transfer between the brain signals and the Neura-Link receiver. Nolan's situation is very promising; not just for computer gaming, but for seamless human-technology interfacing. I believe we'll get to a point where it becomes immediate and constant, as if the machine that you're controlling itself is an extension of your body just like any other limb.

Imagine using Neuralink for spraying in a game like CS2 or VAL—would it mean you'd have to rely on your eyes to control recoil patterns, or could you just let your brain handle the chaos?

Shouldn't be too hard of a problem to compensate for. If the system can detect inputs from the chip, then there should be a way for the system to recognize that the chip is there in the first place, and not allow people who still play with physical analogues to be matched to people with nueralink.
