Mixing & Mastering Techno - Everything From Nothing Part 4, post production, final mix and master

Welcome to the fourth and final part in this series where we have built a full track from one sound design session, plus a few extra elements for spice and finesse. Please leave a comment if you have any questions!

Notes regarding the mastering chain;
1) This was a very general example, as it happens in mastering this track we needed to reduce the stereo highs slightly, not boost them as was suggested in the video
2) There is a small yet critical error when setting up the limiter output levels, the first should be at -3.0db (not -0.3db) and the second at -0.2db.

Can you quickly explain why to do the gain reduction in the end? I saw that you put this in, in every video of this series.
