Ran Takahashi (髙橋 藍 or たかはしらん, Takahashi Ran, born 2 September 2001) is a Japanese male volleyball player and an Olympian. He plays as an Outside Hitter for Nippon Sport Science University's club,[1] Japan men's national volleyball team and Vero Volley Monza.

The Japan men's national volleyball team (Japanese: 男子バレーボール日本代表) represents Japan in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches, governed by Japan Volleyball Association.

Their nickname is "RYUJIN NIPPON (龍神 NIPPON)", meaning "Japanese Dragon God" or "Dragon God of Japan" in Japanese.

2:00 The first volleyball player that I saw doing that with so much grace is named Mireya Luis. She used to do that during the 80s and 90s. Everything that a man can do on the court today, she could also do it back then. Her only 5´9´´ height did not represent any limitations for her bc she could touch 340 cm with her vertical jump. Takahashi is awesome. The setter is a star. Ishikawa, Nishida, and Miyaura are also stellar.
