Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai Slams Siddaramaiah Over A Cheap Remark On 'Lingayat Community'

Just as Rahul Gandhi insulted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's community with his comments. CM Bommain says Siddaramaiah insulted and ridiculed Lingayats.

It is ironic that on the day when Rahul Gandhi is making a Lingayat outrage in Badal Kote, Siddaramaiah commented on the Lingayats on a private channel. He said, "All corrupt leaders and CMs are from the Lingayat community."
In a question asked to Siddaramaiah about how the BJP is trying to throw a googly as he is trying to make Lingayat Chief Minister in Karnataka, Siddaramaiah responded that "Already the Lingayat CM's done enough corruption, and enough is done for Karnataka state."

This statement erupted into war, and CM Bommai commented that "Rahul Gandhi insulted PM Modi, and Siddaramhiah insulted the Lingayat community with his controversial statement."
