5 things I LOVE about iPhones & Androids!

So the debate of iPhone vs Android can get a little toxic, especially online, and to combat this, I thought I'd release a video of 5 things I love about iPhones vs things I love about Androids. Rather than focussing on a winner, I wanted to talk about my top 5 things of each, and what makes Android good, vs what makes iPhone good. Unity baybey!

Here’s my personal likes about each:

iOS:

1. iMessage (due to Android -> iOS messages not going through)

2. Ecosystem

3. Accessibility

4. Software support

5. More accessories are easier to find

6. Camera

Android:

1. Many different brands give choice

2. MicroSD support

3. Concepts come here first, like foldables.

4. APK (as long as you know they’re safe)

5. Cool designs like hole punch camera

6. More smartwatches

I’m in the Apple ecosystem for accessibility and iMessage. I switched from Android.

I use an Android tablet as an ereader.

I like both the same BUT Apple wins in accessibility. Here’s why: while Android devices have the same accessibility features like Talkback/Voiceover. Yet somehow Apple implements it better. Android talkback is hard to use. Voiceover is easier. If they’re the same thing, they should work the same in terms of ease of use. They don’t. Apple wins accessibility.

Accessibility is something that tech reviewers don’t consider, and I believe they should. To give those who need it, like myself, an accurate picture of what works best.

Everyone should learn Android and iOS screen readers for this reason.

I agree with all of these points. I have an iPhone 7 and a google pixel 4a and find myself switching back and forth as it fits my mood. It seems for us “techs” people both aspects of the individual “ecosystems” are appealing so we’re blessed to have options, I guess 🤔

I’ve always said the fact that anyone can make an app and throw it up on google play is sketchy to me. I understand that there are still security risks even with approved, highly reputable apps on the App Store, but just knowing that apple goes the extra mile means a lot more peace of mind for me. Dude, you should make a video comparing the two markets. I’m sure you have much more insight than me about the topic

As someone who has been on both sides, I think they both have amazing phones ^_^ I just prefer iOS due to the integration with my iPad and the ecosystem! Androids are really nice due to the variety and different niches and stuff!

I'm using Pixel 3, Essential Phone, iPhone 12 mini, and SE1 and just switch between the four every season. I still prefer Android but my current driver is the 12 mini.

For me its Apple. I find I have a better experience using their products vs windows or Android. I just got the M1 MacBook Air and love it so much. Using this laptop can honestly say I won't be switching back to PC. I just think for me apple products are more reliable

I have only used android phones. But i had en iPad mini 4 but its Broken now. But i like android more because you can put icons on any part of the home screen. But i dont hate iPhone. They are good too. But they are not cheap to buy. I like that iPhone have Long software support.
