The Cobra Forged Tec irons are a new addition in 2022, with some updated technology and design to suit.

A players distance iron by design, these irons are meant for the better player, but there were certainly some surprises in store when Alex tested them out.

Are you looking for a new set of irons? You'll want to watch this video.

Alex takes the new Cobra Forged Tec irons to the Full Swing Simulator at Silvermere Golf Club to try them out.

Very nice review..it would be nicer if you put these Cobras up against the Wilson Staff D 9 forged irons...Same caterogy and close lofts...Happy New Year and Thanks...

I love the sound, feel and performance of my 2020-2021 Forged Tec irons, but I have to admit, I prefer the appearance of the new ones, but not enough to switch.

Irons were more forgiving when they were shorter eg the 7i being 33 loft at 37 length. All that’s happened is irons have gotten longer and lofts have gone down, hence distance. It’s also changed how people set up to the ball. Eg 7i used to be set up in the centre of the stance, now it’s way forward because that’s the most optimal way to get the ball in the air given the strong lofts.

Hi I'm in the market for a new set of irons I've been fitted for the p790 but I didn't really like the look of the top line. So have the cobra tec git a thinner top line?

What about us slower swing speeds. I assume a lower launch and not as much holding power. Would that be accurate?

Would you bend the forged tec a degree weak because the lofts are a bit strong ?

These have way better feel then the p770’s. I just switched to these very happy won’t look back. I went from the high 80’s to low 90’s. Back to the high 70’s.

Would you recommend these or the Mizuno 223's for a 13 handicapper?
