Omg I just rewatched each episode on Netflix, I was so shocked bc I didn't realize how much the show actually influenced the culture, I mean some of those outfits ID ROCK TODAY & THAT WAS 20 YRS AGO. the hair, fashion, vibes and the culture they created is still very relevant TODAY... I flew to LA back in 2001 to go the finale of American Idol, stayed there a week and went to a taping of Girlfriends! I loved it, the girls were so friendly and watching the taping was fantastic!
