I went to middle school with Ezgi in Seattle. A horrific murder by Israel of such a kind, smart, and heroic young person who contributed immensely in the pursuit of justice at home and in Palestine.

I was raised in a Jewish household. I even had a Bar Mitzvah and everything. I went to a Jewish religious school every Sunday where we would learn about our heritage and Israel and despite all that, I didn't realize the shit Israel was doing until after October 7th. I am 17 now and I literally converted from Judaism because my rabbi tried to explain to me why I should love Israel and why it was in the right. The fact that Judaism is in my blood does not mean I can support a genocide and frankly it sickens me that the sentiment of 'You're Jewish, you should love Israel!' is so common within the Jewish community. Israel is not the same as Judaism even though it is technically a 'homeland for the Jewish people.' Saying Jews should love Israel is pure antisemitism and I don't give a fuck if it's a neo nazi or a rabbi telling me that. Free Palestine

Rachel Aliene Corrie (1979-2003 Peace-be-upon-her ) was an American nonviolence activist and diarist. She was a member of the pro-Palestinian International Solidarity Movement and was run over by a bulldozer in Gaza like tank man was not run over by that tank in China. I don't know if he mad it home that day but the tank stopped for him where the Z bulldozer did not stop for her.
