I like the idea of Ordo Reductor being so absorbed in honing their craft that they sided with the Imperium simply because it's a NG+.

Or maybe they just moved to oppose what the majority of Mechanicum decided out of pure spite - "they broke my heart, i'll break their everything" sort of deal.

The Ordo Reductor are in my opinion, the coolest mechanicum faction and one of the coolest factions in the universe. Their name itself is brilliantly sinister, their lore is cool and mysterious and what little we see if their units and equipment (thallax, ursurax) are some of the sweetest models GW make.

They embody best of all the technological horrors beyond human comprehension theme of the ad mech. They are more interesting than the dark meachanicus who just say what if we put daemons in it, to everything.

I love them and wish more was done with them.

The Odro Reductor might be my favorite bit of Imperial lore. To take the passions that drive most warriors and reduce them to calculations is so much more interesting.
