They aren't "bad" persey, but it's best to use the signs used in your state. The biggest differences are the west coast vs the west coast and really the East coast is different on many of their signs from the rest of the U.S.

They could be a sloppy signer or they could be using slang or have an accent as well.

You talked too much. Next time get a Deaf person with you in every video related to ASL, Deaf Culture and identified as Deaf person. Please give all Deaf teacher a chance. Get Deaf community be recognized! ASL is not your first language. If ASL is your first language, use ASL in your videos.
