Today my friend Leo joins me in showing you how to paraphrase in IELTS Speaking (Part 1).
Like many of my students, he wasn’t sure how or what to paraphrase.

Paraphrasing is actually quite simple, especially if you’re aiming for an upper-intermediate band (6-7).

You don’t need to show a perfect use of paraphrase, and you also don’t need to paraphrase nouns in questions.

A great example of this is when Leo tried to paraphrase “Seafood”... Surely you’ll notice how unnatural it is to paraphrase some nouns after hearing his attempt :D

Following these steps is really simple, fun and effective :)

You’ll learn how to identify Key Language and use pronouns effectively.

Hi Jim, it is a really valuable talk, I appreciate your help when I was practising with you for academic IELTS speaking UKVI and successfully got my scholarship and travelled to the UK.

Could you put for me a link used to directly translate the word directly read on google, I remember getting it from your site but know I couldn't find it.

Thank you again.
