I love tea. A lot. And I've gotten into the bad habit of hoarding it and letting my, already pretty extensive, collection overflow. It's time to do something about that! In this video I'm going to (gently) declutter and reorganise my tea collection, to make it more accessible and the space more functional. Enjoy watching!

My name is Lucy, I'm a Dutchwoman here to offer an alternative approach to beauty.

On this channel I do mostly hair tutorials where I show you how to braid, pin and style your own hair. I recreate hairstyles from movies, tv shows or history and I regularly come up with my own, which I love to share with you!

I really enjoy diving into history to find out how women went about their beauty and dressing rituals in days past. Vintage and history-themed videos are my little passion project.

You'll find a bit of lifestyle content here as well, ranging from cozy chats over a cup of tea (my beloved Tea Time videos) to personal vlogs and home & interior videos.

Enjoy browsing!

Love,
Lucy

Happy to see that the dress you recently brought back to its “former glory” is back in use for you! 😊

This lights a fire under my butt...I need to finally make myself a Tea Menu so I don't have to list off everything I have for guests.

These types of videos are my favourite type of content! Thank you for sticking to who you are Lucy, for all the rest of us slow living, organising, and tea-loving subscribers!

Loepsie: I have way too much tea.
Me: Looks nervously at the two big shelves stuffed with tea in my kitchen.
From one tea aficionado to another, I suggest minimizing the number of teas you have open at a time. I like having one black tea (usually Earl Grey or chai), one green or white tea, and maybe two or three herbal teas to use at any given time. This forces me to actually use up teas before opening a new one and tends to prevent having a bunch of almost empty tins.

You could use those single use tea bags to fill with the tea you don’t like or want to keep and gift them to friends or family members who might like them. It eliminates waste and finds the tea a new home!

I love tea content and organizing content!! Thank you for still making these types of videos even if they don't get as many views--I think there's plenty of us who enjoy them, and they always inspire me to go organize something.

Also, glad to see you wearing the dress with its new/old buttons!

I loved watching this! I have a huge tea collection as I find tea very comforting. Loved seeing how someone else maintains their collection and their tastes.

"if you're here I greet you as a lover of tea and organization"

Me: is a die hard coffee drinker, and probably the most disorganized person on the planet. 👀

I just find other people's organization vlogs soothing lol.

It always feels good to clean up your pantry or cupboard areas. 👍

Oh boy, if I had the money, I'd be about in the same position as you 😅

One thing I've done with some of those older, back-of-the-cupboard teas is make them into ice cubes! Since I know that after a while, tea does get stale, so it won't reach its full flavour potential even if brewed and enjoyed correctly; I'll brew them normally, let it cool, and freeze them! That way, whenever I want some iced tea drinks during hot summer months, I can take out some cubes and combine them with either cold water, sparkling water, other teas, milk, lemonade -- whatever suits it.

While hot tea will always be my favourite over iced, it makes me feel way less bad about binning teas that I could still enjoy in other ways, and it feels more... I don't know, respectful? Why am I concerned about disrespecting tea 🙄

Much love from Canada ♥♥♥

Yup. My tea collection looks about the same. I've been putting off re-organizing for 2 years LOL

I’m a tea freak myself, one of my favorites is the English breakfast tea and the Irish breakfast tea; and I adore chamomile tea at night.
I see you have on the new dress you made, it looks great.

I live in NYC and it’s really important my tea is kept in sealed glass or metal containers—just sitting in a drawer with wood or wooden slats will attract bugs. I really like your stacked glass jar idea.

I have two shelves with spice rack organizers full of tea. I also like to buy cute tea cups from antique stores. Safe to say my tea/cup stash takes up about a third of my cabinet space in my small apartment kitchen.

My husband and I have tea time every day at his first work break in the morning (he works from home), so we do go through plenty of tea on our own. I think it’s a very nice routine, especially since we don’t eat a true breakfast. It sort of works as a tea and snack time a couple hours before lunch.
