Queen - Crazy little thing called love BASS COVER (with Tabs and Sheet)

After many years playing this cool song with my students, i really needed to do a bass cover video and the transcription of this iconic bass line, as recorded by the great John Deacon in 1979.
I tried to respect the original fingering position, but i can't be 100% sure about all the song. I personally loved the use of the major thirds with slide on the main verse bass riff, it gives so much r'n'r style to the song, a perfect choice that fits very well in this tune. Chords changes are a bit crazy in the bridge, and those triplets at the end of the bridge are the main reason why i think of this song more as a "medium" level song than an "easy" one. But just try to count in the right way and pay attention to the drums and you'll pursue it with no problem.

Nicely done. John Deacon was a genius with his iconic bass lines. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I'm a new bassist, and my goal is to be able to play this someday.

FYI bar 63 should be A major, so on the D string (and in other places, when coming back down it's an A7 chord, so ). If you take away your bass sound and listen to the song you should be able to hear the distinction. It's supposed to stand out and sounds right this way. Other than that, really great tab. There's a few versions of downloadable tab out there for this song, and this is one of the best versions but for that one mistake.
