The ROG Ally is a great device, but there is a lot of competition in the handheld PC space. In this video I test one of my favorite games to play on the Ally; Returnal (one of the harder games to run)
The results really caught me by surprise!

Ayaneo wins on looks hands down! Perfect proportions! Just wondering about the battery life. Props to the industrial designer who did it!

One player had higher average frames but lost to both other devices in 1% lows which I find to matter more since that’s where you can see stutters.

I recently got the Rog Ally and i think its well worth the price compared to other handhelds. I wasn't still sure for the AYAneo 2s but now that ive watched this video i have a clearer understanding of it. Really happy with it!

I got the steam deck and, brought the Ally 2 weeks ago cant put that bad boy down. Been tweaking w11 and, I'm staying on bios 319 overall I feel it's been a pretty good investment.

Thank you for not including the Steam Deck in your review. Really tired of all the hater fanboys from that community saying their device it’s better 😂 Really interesting devices for sure. They should be widely available even though some of them are more expensive than the Ally.

I just got a Onexplayer Mini Pro 6800u with 32GB ram and 2TB for $360 in the mail today! I can’t wait to get home from work lol

6800 U Bios and driver efficiency because of how long it’s been out. That will change in a few months

The hardest thing to do is to figure out what Ayaneo sells.Their web site is a nightmare.Indego is a site that makes everything confusing. Is there a definitive list at the different PC handheld devices that they sell?I was going to buy the Ayaneo 2S but that has already been beaten by the other Ayaneo that is coming out a week later. It is foolhardy to buy anything from Ayaneo no customer service and too much product with no help.

The 6800u was pretty slow/buggy day one and improved with AMD and bios updates on my 6800u devices. Same will happen for 7840 and z1. Also keep in mind that 7840 devices with faster ram will bench 10% better than devices like the 2s with slower DDR5 ram. Look at the 2023 GPD Win Max 2. Killing performance benchmarks.

I guess that the Onexplayer Mini Pro won because of the 32GB RAM, however, that doesn't explain why the Ayaneo 2S was left behind, could be graphical drivers, since the 7840u is a newer chip

Been watching your videos, enjoying the content and how you compare these devices for us. I couldnt get comfortable with the Ally ergonomically so still playing the SD until my Ayaneo arrives in about a week or so.

Hello Paul, I already have a ROG Ally, but I'm thinking about getting a Onexplayer to use in my van while I live there and with their egpu when I get back to the house to get a better performance, do you advice? If so, they have many models, which one is better than the ROG Ally for fps/performance? Thx in advance.

Great video my man! Quick question what type of thump sticks are you using for the Ally? And how they fit and feel. If you can share a link please?

Which handheld do you recommend getting in all honesty? I’ve had the steamdeck and I loved it but I sold it awhile ago just because I didn’t have time to play it enough. I’m looking to play mostly AAA games and a nice big screen without performance issues.

I am tempted to get the GPD win 4 2023 version with the 7840 U, it is cheaper than the Ally where I can buy it.

Ayaneo 2 or onexplayer mini pro? both 6800u, 32gb/2tb, and same exact price. Also where did you get the silicone cover for your onexplsyer mini pro, and do they make the same one for ayaneo 2?

How is the Rog Ally handling return of was there an update or something because it plays like trash on the Rog Ally and it's like barely getting frame rate so I don't know how you did this test but kudos to you very well done because I know there's no problem for the 2s and the One X player is not too much of a surprise it is but not too much only because it's probably optimized with its bios but there's other things it can do just like the Rog can do a lot of things but the two less is worth it however only if you get early bird pricing otherwise then it's a tough sell thank you for your due diligence

Hi, You tested the OneXPlayer with Vsync off while the others have it on. Otherwise, great comparison.

It's a new chip. They haven't released a official driver yet
