Nikol Pashinyan visits Los Angeles for the first time as Armenian Prime Minister. More Armenians live here than in any other city outside of Armenia.
"I’d like to make aware more people in America what happened in our revolution because it was a triumph for democracy."
Pashinyan helped to lead the "Velvet Revolution," which pushed out a regime widely seen as corrupt.
Now, Pashinyan is trying to recruit international business to Armenia.
"Get richer and make Armenia richer!" He's celebrating the country's growing technology, agriculture, and manufacturing industries.
Pashinyan said he's a fan of American pop culture--including Tom Hanks & Kim Kardashian West.
He's grateful Kardashian will soon be attending a major technology conference in the country.
In 2018, The Economist called Armenia the "Country of the Year."
"Our community is continuing to fight for justice, for truth!"
