Honestly, I'm glad that the Note and S series have merged. In the early years of smartphones, the S phones were the base phones and the Note series was the big high spec bleeding edge brother to it. Eventually the Note series became just a boxy S pen phone and that was it. Merging the two series allows for the Ultra to take the place of the Note series and become the big high spec phone the Note series once was. A great move by Samsung, in my opinion

People were afraid of Note series being retired by Folds, turns out its the S Series. When the phone is going to have S Pen in it, and have moved the to rectangular form factor and design of note, its basically a new note coming out, its 'S' just in name only.
