Powerwerx documents this quite well, and of course Anderson publishes all the technical specs.

Wow, thanks for sharing, now I can learn the easy way by watching. I like standards, I just don't like to learn them the hard way.

I’ve know this for a couple, of years after doing a “Solar Project” but it was good to see you explain a bit more in color detail, tho I use gray for 48v

Thanks for the heads up Sir! I plan to build a couple of battery boxes and Anderson connectors are a must....Hope you are OK in this winterization of Oklahoma today!

Great timing. I've got a project that I'm using the 50 Amp (Gray) for. What did you use for wire crimpers and what wire gauge are you using (10 ga? 8ga?)? I see one Powerworx crimper on Amazon for around $100. I'm curious what you are using for these. I'm skipping Hamcation this year but hope to catch up with you in Xenia.

These are not power poles as most hams know them They are the Anderson SB series. There are 50-180 amp power poles in their power pole line, often marked PP line. There’s many different Anderson connectors

I use grey 50 amp ones for everything. I don't like powerpoles, they come apart too easily.
