Major disruption to Corby's main rail and road network as Storm Bert hits Northamptonshire.

The main road into Corby is impassable this evening and much of the town is under water after Storm Bert brought heavy rain and strong winds to Northamptonshire.

Oakley Road has been closed for most of the day after a tree fell near Spread Eagle.

Cars are stuck near Tresham College on Oakley Road this evening. People should avoid this route immediately. Police have now closed the road (6.30pm).
