I’m watching this when the Theros: beyond death trailer came out and while it had amazing cgi animation, the narrative of this one is just outstanding!

This was the first ever set that introduced me to Magic, yet only now have I ever seen the trailer. It was really nice to go back to where it all started for me

This is, by far, the best trailer they've ever done. The imagery, the script, the story, and the glorious music... Beautiful. And then, at the very end, they pull out their most ingenious marketing move yet: Heliod declares Elspeth a hero, and on-screen? You see "Hero" turn into "Theros". The moment that clicked in my head, I just lost my mind at how ingenious it was.

And to this day, I still do. Well played, Wizards. Well played indeed.

The animation quality is easily the best I have seen so far out of an MTG trailer. The content is very classy too. Love the presentation from Heliod's POV.

I can't get enough of this trailer. Some notes.
1. Gift of immortality has one of the greatest art concepts ever seen in the game.
2. The music on the part where Elspeth is introduced is so epic.
3. The art overall is amazing.
4. They should use this narator in all future trailers.

Some people are born to be narators. This guy is awesome. He makes the trailer 10 times more epic. As a Greek, I am really excited to see the art on these cards.

My brother and I were talking about old vs new card art. There are pros and cons for both, but these animations are a big pro.
