How To Turn Off The Annoying Screen Timeout Keeps Resetting To 30 Seconds On Samsung Galaxy Phones

I got so sick and tired of my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 reverting to the super fast 30 second screen timeout.

By my Samsung Galaxy S8 it was a bit different: device care -> battery -> settings -> optimize settings

Now I have another problem. If say I set my alarm. The words come up on my screen. ( Alarm set for 3 hours?

Does not work on my Samsung Galaxy A35 bought a month ago (Nov 2024).
Device Care > click on three dots > only shows Settings

Settings only shows:
1. Show device care on App Screen - I have it on
2. About Device care

Furthermore I don't need to wait until midnight for;
Display > Screen timeout
to change to what my default seems to be: 20 sec
it does that withing minutes.
While reading something in FB, Messenger, Mail you name it.

I will never buy another Samsung.
They do NOT respect the the setting that allow us to make.

RESETTING our chosen options at night, or anytime, is unacceptable.

EDIT
Currently:
Display > Screen timeout 10 min ... just reset it
but screen still dimming and turning off in 20 seconds.

100% Unacceptable!

This won't work on Android 12. That Device Care option doesn't exist.
