I'm sorry, but 4 LANES? That's insane!

This is some good stuff. I’m starting to get into game dev and I’m biting off way more than I can chew for my first game. I’ll probably put that project on hold and work on some smaller games first but we’ll see what the future holds.

Ideas: Make a night level where the cone head zombies are replaced with door zombies.
Make a pool level.

Make a fog level where cone head zombies are replaced with door zombies.
Add Doom-Shroom, Puff-Shroom, Scaredy-Shroom, Fume-Shroom, Tangle Kelp, and Lily Pad.

This is 16bit. For nes standards, you can have just 4 colors per 8x8 tile, with clear as a color.
*Clear is not required, but will remove all transparency upon removal.
This is due to a sprite being stored like this;
00 01 01 11 10 10 01 10 10 01 10 10 11 01 01 00
00 01 01 01 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 01 01 01 00
00 01 01 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 01 01 00
00 00 10 10 10 10 10 00 00 10 10 10 10 10 00 00
00 00 10 10 10 10 00 00 00 00 10 10 10 10 00 00
00 00 00 11 11 11 00 00 00 00 11 11 11 00 00 00
00 00 11 11 11 11 00 00 00 00 11 11 11 11 00 00

The bottom 7 rows of Mario.
The four colors are
00 (transparent)
01 (his skin)
10 (his hat)
11 (boots)

This looks really cool, I even played it and I somehow managed to find a glitch called the "plant on another plant" glitch, and I see some people asking if you could add the shovel because they couldn’t remove their plants to replace them.

You should've made a homebrew nes game to max the accuracy

although it looks 8-bit, i can assure you IT IS NOT, this game goes far beyond the limitations of 8-bit.

here's a few tips for next time when you make a 8 bit styled game: first of all, don't do that much shading, on the nes, sprites can only have 3 colors (not including white), second of all, make it 4:3, there is no nes game that's widescreen, third of all, nes games can only have 13 colors at once, and has a 56 color palette, fourth, nes games can only display 64 sprites at once, so next time you make a video about "insert game here but it's 8 bit" please accommodate for these limitations.

>"8-bit"
>made in unity
this is a really cool project but "pixel art" =/= "8-bit"
8-bit means literally using an 8-bit processor (or compatible with 8-bit processors)

Nah, “Cone Zombie”, don’t you mean the classic CONEHEAD?

This was really cool but there is already a 8-bit version on the Nintendo Ds. But im not complaining that this can be played on PC so great job and keep working hard.

Dang it you clickbaited me with the PvZ DS sprite of Peashooter, but at least you actually made it 8 bit instead of 16 bit or something and just putting 8 bit into the thumbnail just because people think it means pixel art in general
