Deputy Intelligence Minister Zizi Kodwa says the country needs to reinforce its immigration laws and deal with the current civil unrest and deadly violence outbreaks across the country, including in Diepsloot. Kodwa says the xenophobic incidents are a symptom of corruption at the country's borders. He has conducted an oversight inspection of the Maseru South Africa Border gate in the Free State Province.

Build an electric fence again/ build a wall . Let people show themselves at the door or border gate if they want to come in or out. Why is our neighbours not building fences also to stop their people leaving.

I think the ANC must ask some advice from the apartheid government that how it was possible to manage the borders because that time it waa not possible to see a foureners in our country i think we have to go to them and get some advice. What do you think?

Why would Lesotho be interested in sorting out this problem? It is beneficial to the Lesotho officials to keep the status quo it serves their interests

Ministers will surprise you. It's like we not leaving in the same country. They have to go there to see the borders are free for all? I remember when Tokyo went to sleep in a shanty so he can understand what the people are going through 😂 looking busy isn't working fellas.

I think the government must bring back the curfew to control the situation people must have permit to be out there during the night. so the police can spot danger and criminal activities.
