Thank you!!! The cube questions have ALWAYS gotten me, now with the opposite rule it's easy. Oh thank you so much.

I spent a lot of time with question 7.
With the opposite sides rule, I can eliminate quickly 1 answer.
But remaining answers are both valids relatively with this rule.

What is the rule for deferentiate them ? Here is a proposition.
Let's call B for Back the yellow circle, solid green (most left side)
Let's call L for Left the blue circle, solid green
Let's call C for Center the red circle, solid green
Let's call R for Right the full black circle
Let's call U for Upper the blue circle, solid yellow
Let's call D for Down the full yellow circle.

If I make a clockwize rotation of U R D L, then C is in front of me and B is in the back.

Is there a simplier way ?

Question 2 is easy! The answer is C and I know this because the long part is used as a staircase and the other two blocks are used on top of the long block, not stacked on each other.

I know that for question 1, C cannot be the answer because, in the net, the squares are together. The same for A which technically, means B is the answer. And if you check B, you can see that the three squares in the net together make an 'L' shape. So, in the cubes, it would look like that.

I'm pretty sure that Q7 can be both A and B, it depends on whether you fold it towards yourself or into the screen. Let's imagine you fold it towards yourself so that the green-yellow circle is on the top. You rotate it by 90 degrees to the left so that black comes on top, and then just rotate around the vertical axis until it aligns with the answer B.

EDIT: I guess these test assume that the circles are drawn only on one side of the net. I incorrectly assumed that they are drawn on both sides.

Question 5 cannot be A or B due to opposites. C isn't the answer because the 3 nets aren't linked and cannot be compared to D.

For Question 6, A cannot be the answer due to opposites. B cannot be the answer because the 3 nets converted into cubes wouldn't make that.

Did you know, and as artists, I hope you can relate to this, that the neuro tests make the elderly with no art or interest in art draw a cube with no instruction or a reference. Betty Edwards says people cannot draw cubes without instruction. I'm almost finished with my graphic memoir of how I used my health and fitness knowledge to stop my mother with mild dementia from forgetting me, and it worked. I tricked her off caffeine, then no prescription meds, forced her/tricked her/incentivized her to drink water, kept her away from high fructose corn syrup and other poison, because they made her mean and delusional, and kept her away from gluten. I'm always curious to know what artists think of this fact? My book is about how the right hand is not talking to the left hand about many aspects of our health, and people should use art to help with their caregiving.
