When the buff Engineer cosmetic eventually comes out, it's going to be the only new cosmetic to have stats

Notably Dangerous Texan Muscles
*Triples wearer's max health*
*If backstabbed, wearer is not instantly killed. Instead, the hit will be treated as a mini-crit normal hit.*
*+50% increase to melee damage dealt regardless of equipped weapon*
*20% increase to movement speed*
_Wearer cannot switch to their equipped primary or secondary weapon. Who needs guns with muscles like these?_

Engie survived thanks to the diligent sculpting of his trapezius and latissimus dorsi muscles into a wall of muscle to completely block blades up to 9 inches in length from piercing his spine.
Unfortunately, he neglected his impact resistance training and ended up with a glass jaw so weak that even a frenchman and/or a relative of noodle-armed scout could stun him… or so Engie would have you believe. For you see, even with his intense physical training, Engie still knew that his greatest weapon was his mind.

Engie knew that no matter how physically superior a specimen he was to Spy, he would never be able to land the finishing blow so long as Spy had his Dead Ringer. But what if he couldn’t use it? During a taunt, Spy cannot cloak, disguise, move or attack. It was at that moment when Spy would be at his most vulnerable.

But how would he get Spy to taunt?
The answer was simple, Engie would have to be backstabbed.

So Engie devised a trap. Under the guise of a melee duel, he purposely slowed his first attack as to not activate Spy’s dead ringer, and let the spy connect a clean hit on his jaw, apparently knocking him out. However, Engie was perfectly lucid, even as he slumped over. Knowing that no spy could resist backstabbing a defenseless opponent, Engie gambled his dignity (and spine) and blocked each stab with his muscles.
Spy, as predicted, laughed after his assumed victory, and in doing so fell into Engie’s trap.
All according to plan, partner.

POV: it’s your first time playing Spy in MVM and you go to backstab a giant Heavy thinking it will go down in 1 or 2 stabs

This is totally me when I'm Heavy like a Brinks truck
Looking like I'm tip-top
Shining like a wristwatch
Time will grab your wrist
Lock it down 'til the thing pop
Can you stick around for a minute 'til the ring stop?

I'm sure all you engineer mains can understand.

The best way to trickstab is also the best way to avoid a trickstab. Stand still for no reason.
