Native to the Texas Hill Country, this common, evergreen tree provides great screening and shelter for wildlife.

Nice video, but the trees are not invasive. When they spread as bushy thickets, just are acting as pioneering species that help improve growing conditions overtime for other plants. Otherwise, where habitat is not degraded, they are a normal component of wooded areas and grow as trees.
