Hey everyone! Welcome back to the channel! Today, we're diving into the world of the graceful (and sometimes derpy) Odette, a mage with a surprisingly high win rate in Mythic Glory. But is she really all she's cracked up to be?

We're putting Odette's skills to the test to see if she can carry us to victory, while also encountering some hilarious (and educational) fails along the way. [Funny] Prepare for epic dance moves, questionable enemy team decisions, and a whole lot of swan singing!

But before you lock in Odette for your next ranked match, there are some key things to consider. We'll break down her strengths, weaknesses, and the enemy comps that can shut her down faster than you can say "Swan Lake."

Plus, we'll discuss the upcoming Winter Truncheon update and how it might change the game for our favorite ballerina. Will it make her unstoppable? Or is there still a way to counter the ultimate dance party?

A quick summary: Make sure to stack up her passive (by using her first skill on the air) to increase damage, and if the enemy is alone try to get closer to maximize her passive (this only recommended if they cannot disrupt and its safe for you gank) Most importantly pick her when the enemy dont have knockup, supress, or heavy cc skills.

As an Odette player, it is come to my attention that despite her buff, Odette still a rarely pick mage due to her skill set. She is more like a 'Frontline Mage', who thrives to attack everything under her domain when she is channeling her ultimate.

I know that for most mages player, playing at a safe distance while casting skill are a preferable type of playstyle. But remembering how Odette's ultimate are a channeling skill towards her surrounding, she cannot be a perfect backliner, even though she has a potential.

But furthermore, for those who wanted to master her, there is some tips regarding for her skill that maybe missed out.

Lakeshore Ambiance (Passive)

Tip A => Her passive is a damage boster, which similar to hanabi's basic attack, can hit five times. The damage might be a little, but if combine with poking item like Glowing Wand, Necklace of Durance, and Genius Wand, the hit will deal a steady damage, yet the item's effect can reach the backline by bouncing between each hero enemies, minions, or creep. Playing as a poker with cooldown item can significantly increase her poke ability because her passive will trigger more often due to short cooldown of your skills.

Tip B => Prioritize the stack! Her passive stack last only 8 second, and the best way to stack is use her first skill (Avian Authority) to stack it up to three. Make sure you have stacks before joining a war or a battle.

Tip C => Don't rely too much on combo to trigger her passive if you have a bad aiming skill! Her passive enhance her basic atack range slightly, so use the basic attack button and attack like a marksman, before jumping inside the war with your ultimate.

Tip D => If you notice it, Odette's basic attack speed when you have full three stack of passive in late game slightly increase. It didn't show on the status of your hero, but it did when you use your basic attack to cast it all out. Use minion and creep to act as a bridge so your basic attack using her passive can reach the bckline even faster!

Avian Authority (1st Skill)

Tip E => Use this skill to stack your passive, but dont hit anything else with it. If you did, the passive will get triggered automatically and you will lose a stack.

Tip F => If you have multiple stack of passive, aim this skill to hit atleast two enemies. If you have the maximum three stacks, her passive can get trigger up to two times if you manage to hit more than one, making you easily use two stacks at once.

Tip G => The previous tips can be used when you want to immediately annihilating two enemies that are close to one another. Using full stack of passive, aim her first skill to hit the two enemies and immediately ultimate them. This will make the passive will react faster and bounce between them more efficiently, so the enemies have less time to react when your passive already outburst them first till their HP reach zero.

Blue Nova (2nd Skill)

Tip H => The second ball will prioritize enemy heroes, so to chase a hero, hit her skill towards the nearby creep of the enemy hero, so the split ball will autolock the enemy hero.

Tip I => Her wide range in second skill can be usefull in certain situations. It will be easy to aim and hit an enemy with her split ball or direct aim towards a target. In other situations, her wide range can be a problem if you ended up hittting other thing at the first cast, and the split ball autolock the wrong target. Because her second skill is an object that will stop moving forward when hiting any object like Luo Yi's first skill, aim her second skill with a perfect calculation, so her skil wont be a waste. This is important since her second skill has a long cooldown for a CC skill that can only immobilize, and not stun.

Tip J => The split ball's prioritozed hero target not always depending on the setting of your skill button. If you prioritized hitting enemies with the lowest hp, between two or three nearby heroes, the split ball can have a chance to target the enemy with the lowest hp, but this is still under my testings.

Swan Song (Ultimate)

Tip K => TIMING IS KEY! PATIENCE IS VIRTUE!

Don't rush on and immediately press the Ultimate button. Remember certain condition can judge your effectiveness about your choice in proceeding to ult. Here are some things you need to consider:

Condition on enemy's side

1. Enemy have a high CC skill and has not using it yet (You can be a target lock! be careful!)

2a. Heroes with dashing skills (Beware of those heroes, and especially assassins, or else they might outburst you first hand and kill you the first second you use your ultimate!

2b. Heroes with dashing skills (Beware of those heroes cause they can escape outside of your ultimate area, making your skill go to waste.)

3. Heroes with CC immunity spell or skill (Your nd skill attempt to lock them might get purified and dthey will run outside your ultimate.)

4. Heroes with high movement speed (Odette no longer have her slow effect on her ultimate, so be wary or else they will escape easily)

5. Heroes with HP Regen / Shield / Damage immunity / Damage reduction skill or spell (Make sure to burst them fast enough with your ulti firstly before they could even react or wait patiently until their skill has been used and the effect are wore off before you use your ultimate to maximize your damage.)

6. Enemy's position (If they are too scatter around, think before ultimate, if you can kill them easily or not, cause you will have a hard time in burst them down since your passive can't bounce fast or even can't bounce at all if they are have a distant between one another. If they are close to one another, it is better so your passive can work faster in eliminate those enemies since your passive will prioritize them with closer distance...)

Condition in your side :

1. Teammates is not there yet and no one can cover you right now (Don't RUSH! Odette is no longer the old one, and you only have a shield that can shatter easily by marksmans, so don't jump solo and use your ultimate while you're alone facing many enemies UNLESS you have a good amount of spell vamp like 20 % and your DPS is higher than the enemy's damage, and also their high cc skills are in cooldown.)

2. Teammates with combo skill that can tank you, or provide you shield, CC imunity, HP healing, shiled, or extra skill (The more, the merrier! If they engage and provide you some support, immediately think about your position to strike and stike at the enemies's most fatal and weakest point in the battlefield while they're tanking you by receiving damage and CC skill.)

She literally the best mage against assasins. And actually a very good pick in gold lane which most people doesn't try, better than Harith i will say because literally no mm can counter her (except Lesley but she can kill her before she cancels ult)
But yeah most people doesn't take advantage of her passive, she doesn't even need to cast ulti if her passive is stack for squishy heroes

Odette is my main hero and i have 200+ matches with 68% wr. There's some of my tip, I dont use flicker, i use petrify or purify depending on the enemies. Always jump aside enemies if they're alone so u can burst them easily. Always observe before using ur utilities, means look if they're piling up so ur passive can quickly bounce in them. Be sneaky play her like an assassin like ling and enter teamfight if the enemies use all their abilities. Here the build i use Magic shoes, genius wand, glowing wand, lightning truncheon, ice queen wand, devine glaive. Hope it helps

Not much people realize her potential. I’ve been playing her before her revamp. Her damage is nuts and she’s quite easy to master. You just have to be conscious of enemy’s cc skills. She could also shred tanky heroes once equipped with Glowing Wand.
