//OPPO FIND N5 REVIEW

Some products can be considered in a vacuum – but this is not one of them. The Oppo Find N5 is the most technically impressive folding phone on the market: light in a pocket; low on the crease; and as thin as its USB port physically allows. By most objective metrics, it’s the best foldable there is.

And yet it’s also a symbol of a product category whose prices remain stubbornly high, while its adoption stays fairly low. That’s led some folks (rightly) to ask if book-type foldables, as a category, are living on borrowed time. And while I sincerely hope that’s not true … we know from hard experience that being the best at something doesn’t always mean you win.

The upshot is that this is an outstanding product … that nevertheless may not have a place in the modern world. I spent a month with the Oppo Find N5, to see how it stacks up to the other foldables in my arsenal … and I tested its cameras with a visit to another technological marvel that was ahead of its time.

[ABOUT MRMOBILE'S OPPO FIND N5 REVIEW]

MrMobile's Oppo Find N5 Review was produced following four weeks with a Find N5 review sample provided by Oppo. Tested on T-Mobile in NYC and Baltimore, MD running production software. The device received two software updates during the review period.

MrMobile does not offer manufacturers the opportunity to preview, edit or approve content before publication. Neither Oppo nor any other manufacturer provided compensation in exchange for this coverage. The lone sponsor of this video is Surfshark.

I am 99.99% sure that Michael Fischer is a poet. His way of narration is astonishing.

I wasn't expecting to come away from a phone review more interested in in a nuclear powered passenger ship than the phone but here we are.

It's 100% confirmed that Michael Fisher is THE only person that can blend a smartphone review with a dash of educational knowledge and history WITHOUT being boring. Its a rare feat. That's why i never skip the video and IDGAF of the product review or title of his video, AUTOMATIC CLICK the video and watch IMMEDIATELY.

I just bow to you 🙌🙌🙌

Footage in the sound booth is definitely taking me back to the old Pocket Now days

I think this is easily the best review video I’ve ever seen. Forget the product, it’s the editing, pacing, using your trip to the vessel to test battery life and the cameras, genius! Love it. Great work 😊

mr.mobile will forever be (hopefully), my fav style of tech reviews i've seen. Everything feels authentic; there is no feeling like he was somehow bought by a mega corp (ahem, Apple) and we get to actually see how the phone's camera is with samples WHILE learning something new about Baltimore. nice.

Im using the Find N5 in the U.S (global version) running on Verizon. Its my first foldable and I couldn't be happier with the experience.

I had no idea you recorded your vocals in an actual booth. That's simply delightful

One of these days Micheal should really do a mini doc on some US ships. He seems to be into them and he’s a great narrator.

This is actually justified. Oppos main business is in the middle-east Australia and india. Where even if the market is smaller these phones by percentage will sell. In the US unless it has a fruit at the back its a loss for Oppo even if they go back in time to sell it + it would be even pricier with the tariffs.

I'm absolutely the type of person who would love a book style foldable, but the prices are just way too high for me to justify

That footage of the Palm Pre at 0:47 right as he said "being the best at something doesn't always means you win". 😢 🎉 Bravo.

I wouldn't mind a second channel from mr.mobile all about traveling and sightseeing

I'm visiting cousins in Maryland next week and being a big submarine nut, I now have an old nuclear powered commercial ship exhibit on my agenda that I absolutely did not know about lmao. Thanks man!

1:36 hold the phone! For the past decade I've been picking my finger up and replacing it on the reader when setting up my fingerprint. This is a game changer!

I love my N5 coming from like 10 years of Samsung

The battery is seriously great. Definitely see much more battery at the end of the day that my other folds

"Feats of dimensional diminishment". You never cease to impress with your poetry 🙂

This is your best writing yet. I was impressed by the analogy of technology ahead of its time. We'll done.
