As I listen to this song, I'm thinking of my uncle Clifford Wilson, who served with the Canadian Expeditionary Forces during WW1. He was killed in action during that war and is buried in Tyne Cot Cemetery, Belgium. I recently received word from the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa that the museum will accept the Memorial Cross given to my family by the Canadian Monarch. It will make me happy to know the Memorial Cross will have a good home.
