I watched Clannad in 2009 when I was just starting middle school and I STILL think about it from time to time. Clannad and Soul Eater were my first animes and they both have a very special place in my heart. Hearing the openings and endings from Clannad and the after story really take me back to a simpler time

It's been almost ten years since I've started watching Clannad and I don't know for what reason it compelled me to watch it, even when I at first wasn't very into anime. But I don't regret watching it at all, I believe it also helped me understand a more humble way of life. I still think it holds up today, it is indeed one of the best anime of all time. <3

I already know this is going to be one of those series that's going to stay with me forever and one I'll probably rewatch every year or so. Yes, it's an incredibly sad and cruel series, but it's also funny, hopeful and encouraging. I always heard about Clannad in terms of how it made people cry, and it definitely does a damn effective job of that, but it's also so much more. It's one of the most well-rounded series I've ever seen and I'm so glad I finally got around to watching it.
