Best Ariens vid after watching many. You are great at this. No wasted words or time, casual demeanor and perfect coverage of important steps. Can't thank you enough. We are due for a supposed 16" this weekend here in Mass. Please continue to post vids and keep up the good work!

Thanks a ton. I watched two other videos that had me confused and overwhelmed. After watching yours, I completed the whole job without even needing to reference the video as I went.

Good video. Thanks for posting. Vice grips!!! Ouch!!!! Surely and open end wrench would have fit there!

I also had trouble getting the fuel line off the carburetor. I just very patiently twisted it back and forth until it loosened.

Great video... The only thing missing that would be super helpful to your subscribers is the wrench sizes...

Awesome video. Just want to say you should press the primer x3 minimum as it says in the instructions right on the gas tank. It would probably start up first pull. I found there is a small hole in the primer bulb which you have to cover over when you press it so gas is extracted from the gas tank or air will go in and not so much gas and it takes a while to start. Just what I found over the years with this machine 👍

Very useful! Thank you. Do you have a video for Ariens Compact 22". It may be similar but just asking.

Thanks!!! I have an abundance of fuel just priming and trying to start my blower. So much that Fuel is coming from muffler. I only primed it 2x’s and not exactly which way to turn the choke for full. Can you tell me which way to turn the choke for a full choke? I will be replacing the carburetor as I’ve tried to clean it with seafoam and it won’t start due carb issues

great video and easy to follow. Unfortunately when putting back together the little, i guess it would be called throttle spring came unattached. thoughts?

That spacer on my blower was the size of the gasket. I cleaned the aluminum manifold with wire mesh and kept the junk from going in with my small shop vac as I was cleaning. Depending on carb you buy may differ from the large plastic spacer between the carb and manifold.

Looks like you reinstalled the silver cover upside down. Probably not a big deal. Did you have a gasket left over after the installation? Looked like one belonged between the spacer and the carb. Otherwise, nice job. a confidence building video for the uninitiated!
Any adjustments required? Dirty fuel? Did you flush your gas tank?
The carbs are inexpensive and probably easier to replace than cleaning and rebuilding.
Make sure you drain the carb in the spring. Drain or siphon the gas tank empty also.

When you took the cover (holding the primer bulb and key) do you remember where the 2 longer bolts went? Did they screw into the carb. or the other panel covering the bottom of the gas tank?
