I'm honestly shocked as to how well this replicates the high level commercial real estate industry. Property values are a mystery, people's cash reserves are hidden, everything is a risk and a dingle wrong purchase could spell the end. Some tweaking to the auctioning and this could be a really intensive economics game.

There is something extra funny about a mechanic being "You hide your net worth from everyone else to gain advantage on deals"

I was uninterested until the secret money came in. That's honestly a really neat idea and shows some genuine design chops behind the game. Honestly wouldn't even mind trying to fit that into monopoly, makes everything far more interesting as it can prevent a feeling of hopelessness or inevitability when you see someone with stacks on stacks.
