We all hate Insurance companies like this and we all know the healthcare issues are bad.

From a purely logical perspective, what has this accomplished? A bright young man just ruined his future by shooting the CEO. It's so sad.

Ben is wrong. This has started a conversation. 90% of comments show no sympathy for the CEO. That tells you how unhappy people are with insurance. No one is promoting violence, people are just expressing discontent. Something will change.

What I think about United Healthcare is very relevant. The dead CEO’s aim was to deny as many health care claims as the company could get away with to maximise profits. The fact that millions of Americans suffered and many died as a consequence was, well, hard luck for them.

I think the idea is that he was probably hoping to inspire change… even though violence was not the best choice. But I can see how people feel it’s the only choice when politicians are paid by these companies fall in line with their agenda.
