ok but seriously I love the toa payoh design. If im not wrong it was adapted from a system made before the building of toa payoh and this circular system was adapted from it.

There should be an LRT line straddling that circular-like road. Yishun as well.

grid layout is a mistake. we don't need fast flowing traffic in between our schools, houses, and shops. also it literally encourages people to drive or worse speed through which we also don't want

Swamp in standard malay is paya. Payoh sounds like some ang mo Brit tia salah and wrote it down wrongly using his angmo ji. Like Paya Lebar is zhun Malay, which means Wide Swamp. So next time you tell your friends can meet up at Wide Swamp MRT - is not wrong
