they didn't substantially buff the trophies won right below 1k (still only +8 instead of +7, 6) so it's slowed it all down.

the only thing that's improved is the minimum winrate required, so it'll take a while for players filter through

I don't think 1k will ever be r24 level, even though trophy gain is the same, since it's an objectively longer grind
