I have 12 saving funds, mostly for annual expenses like car insurance and property fees. Currently I am most aggressively funding my holiday/vacation savings and building up my medical fund so that it will cover my deductables for the new year

12. If you were glasses add a fund for this. As someone who has worn glasses for the last 26 of the 28 years of my life its just something that i forgot until i had to buy them

I also have kids school account to cover all expenses for the year, pets account, our cat recently needed vet surgery 👍
Medical/glasses fund for kids.
Car/rego/tyres/service insurance account.

Great tips! In addition to yours, I also do Car registration tags, Car Maintenance, Medical, and a Date Night Fund. We don’t go out every week or even every month, but when we do, it’s nice to know the money is set aside
