I feel like you should've emphasized that its important to build up your velocity when peeking close/hugging a wall, i commonly see people just swinging out with low to nothing of velocity built up and it get's them killed super easily if the enemy is decent enough to press mouse one. But overall great video Kudos!

no one been covering fundamentals lately in last year, keep going and please teach ppl about ladders lol, so many players so slow when going up or down ladder.

need more videos like this, most of the beginners like me just want to work on their aim without realizing the importance of fundamentals and right technics.

Love this can you do more basics videos like this? like sound travels really far in this game stop running absolutely everywhere or running right up to where your team mate had walked up to? Use your map. Basic crossfires, covering each other, simple stuff.

speaking on the left-right angle, i never even thought of that until you mentioned it, I've noticed that swinging to the right/peaking on my right side feels so much better than the left.

the near far speed thing normalises itself down with time on screen and the size of the target; a closer target requires a faster spin to track, but it's also a larger target etc.

not disagreeing with outcomes, but pinch of salt on actual perceived effectiveness

2700 hrs+ and I got these tricks and tips just by playing the game by myself and I love it when someone shows the exact things that i got instinctively are the best practices to apply in the game.

Been playing counterstrike forever this basic knowledge theres some info in here that can tighten up my game. This knowledge I knew about but I'm not executing it correctly on every play so thanks fl0m really good video

I jiggle closer to the wall because it gives me a better gauge of how much of my body I'm showing. Its hard to tell how much shoulder I'm showing when I'm further from the wall.

2:10 also notice that in the case the peeker is near the back wall, the ambient occlusion shadows show up before the model actually appears, which gives even more timing advantage to the posted player.

The obvious grain of salt that needs to be considered is when you peek farther than the initial angle, it can open you from other angles (inferno porch-side on mid, coffin on B site from banana)

But otherwise great content

My mind as a silver has been blown.
Thank Fl0m sensei for teaching me.

3:07 to be precise, your camera is exactly in the middle of your player position, but it's the player model that's slightly shifted, making it unaligned with the camera

don't forget the shadow advantage either... you can clearly see the shadow on the further wall(in this situation)

One thing that could've been worth mentioning is that if you wide an angle to "pass their angle" is that you strafe wide and expose yourself to other angles that the opponent might be standing at. So going wide past an angle should only be done if you know exactly where the opponent is holding and you know that you will position yourself in a way that forces the opponent to move to get you in their sights again.

Other than that, very solid video! I feel that many people (me included) often misjudge at what point our shoulder would be visible to the opponent before we can see them (i.e. when we are too close to a wall/cover and stick out slightly), so the first point is something I feel a lot more players should practice.

I knew that being farther from an angle gave you a slight advantage but I never thought about moving closer to the wall to appear faster. that's why I get domed when I try to rechallenge someone far back on an angle. thanks for the tips brother.

yo this is very helpful, lot of YouTubers talk about this, but they explain it in a bad way, but you made so smooth and clear

1:14 literally the opposite. He sees you before you see him. So what's your analysis of that ?
