Ukon is a 1 year old intact male German Shepherd who came to us from Wisconsin for a board & train. He was dog reactive (barking and lunging at dogs when on leash) and dog aggressive (attacking dogs who got too close).

Valor K9 Academy is a small, veteran-owned dog training company based in Spokane, WA and Chattanooga, TN. We specialize in puppy training, off leash obedience training and behavior rehabilitation for all dogs. Our goal is to create a strong bond between owners and their dogs through training. We believe that all dogs can be trained, and that training should be fun!

Our rehab program is designed for dogs with behavior issues: people aggression, dog aggression, fear issues, leash reactivity, separation anxiety and resource guarding. We start with foundation training to build your dog’s skill set and instill trust, respect & confidence, then we slowly and systematically address the dog’s presenting behavior symptoms working towards a behavior rehabilitation solution. We do not use punishment-based, shock-and-awe training. Our methods focus on foundation work to address behavior issues in a fair and humane way. Program also covers basic obedience commands, treadmill training, FitPAWS training, agility and sheep herding. Includes a custom training manual, private lessons with your dog’s lead trainer, and 10% off all further lessons. For dogs of all ages.
