The biggest regret I have is not watching this spectacle on the big screen 😢

While this movie bored me plot-wise, I stayed for the amazing visuals. The CGI really didn't _feel_ like CGI, it all felt part of the world.

The Creator is such a beautiful film, and I'm pleased you've managed to capture it in such a wonderful way in three minutes. I've seen the film twice at the cinema and loved it even more the second time around.

The film isn't perfect but it aims high, and it succeeds on other levels that you can't help but be absorbed by it. I look forward to watching this again.

This isn't a movie as much as it is an experience. I was truly floored by the visuals as well as the concept.

Saw this at the movies twice. truly some of the best CGI/practical combinations i've seen. Many in the industry need to see how incredible this film looks and learn a thing or two from Edwards.

Honestly, I don't think the plot was disappointing at all like others are commenting here, I think it was more than serviceable and very emotionally powerful. That being said, it was very clear to me they cut a lot out of the film, and I hope to see a Redux/Director's Cut one day to fill the holes in the plot and pacing, not to mention fully lean into an R rating (cus I could tell the brutality in several sections almost pushed for an R rating, particularly with the amount of blood we see in the raid at the beginning of the film with the AI complex where we meet Alphie for the first time).

Unfortunate that studio intervention cut this film down to an inferior length. Despite that, I can see the potential and the echo of what it was supposed to be. Regardless, it’s the best looking movie of the year.

Man, that very last scene still brings tears to my eyes like it did in the theater. This wasn’t the greatest movie I’ve ever seen plot wise, I didn’t even agree with the plot really, but man, Hans Zimmer knows how to tug on your heartstrings. And that kid was a great actor!

It’s crazy that during the film I didn’t really notice the score but here I definitely feel it

This and both Dune movies have a very important element in common. They are both shot at actual, real life locations. I really hope this becomes the norm for big budget movies whenever possible as it makes a huge difference. CGI should be used as a tool to enhance, not as a lazy get-out-of-jail-free card like so many studios have done for the last decade. Even people who don't enjoy this movie's plot can still get something out of it for the visual spectacle alone.

Gareth Edwards is a great visionary, since Godzilla and Rogue one, in The Creator although the script was his Achilles heel, the production, costumes, sound, soundtrack, and cinematography take it to the tenth degree.
It's incredible that a movie like this with a little budget can do great things and The Creator proves it more than ever.
I hope they nominate it, I don't know for best cinematography.

This and Oppenheimer are currently neck and neck for my favorite of the year so far. Really surprised how much this got to me emotionally despite the film's story being pretty tropey; Then again, I'm an easy target for stuff this earnest and confident in itself.

Thanks for the vid too! Really nailed the film's beauty quite well.

I miss the time Hollywood used to make tons of big-budget movies without trying to build a franchise out of it

No sequel baits or post-credits scenes

This is what they need to do right now to put an end to this era of artistic bankruptcy

Out of all the amazing imageries this movie boasts, somehow this 2:22 scene touched me the deepest. There's something about it that I cannot explain.
