furmark is implemented in the graphic drivers as a test virus and cards will reduce clocks/voltage. Not sure about old versions or older cards. (wouldn't recommend to run those)
Also furmark is not using any memory. If the card has memory issues and its newer than 20 series it won't show anything (if its not to the point of crashing) because they have memory correction. You can only see score reduction in benchmarks. (compare clocks and scores to a similar card to see if its underperforming)
Or use a boot up program that i know little about (seen it used by card repair technicians) and its pretty accurate at reporting issues and on what specific modules.

Personally I would not buy a used GPU unless the seller grants a warranty, accepts returns and has a excellent feedback score.

Yes Brian used GPU's are something that I would be loathe to buy unless I was desperate. Now I am lucky because I have three GPU's beit they are older models that could get me out of trouble. Now lot of GPU's that I have actually looked at on eBay have a statement that they will not accept returns and that is a very RED flag eh?? I have to admit though that I am not a gamer and just like a really nice display on my monitors. Now I find the graphics on my Asus Vivobook like other laptops I have owned has the Intel onboard graphics and frankly I find the resolution is just fine.

Brian, is there a way to check any individual ID on a graphics card? So if the seller says eg: engine number on a car block matches the engine block when you receive it.
I've always been curious to know.

Furmark freezed while running and i got an bsod : dpc watchdog violation(I am using a laptop and it is only 23 days old) I also got some colored stuff on furmark before I got the bsod😢
