Lürssen built this amazing yacht which belongs to Heidi Horten, an Austrian billionaire and wife of the late Helmut Horten. She’s considered one of the most beautiful yachts in the world and is 318.25 ft or 97.20 m long. She can accommodate 12 guests at a time with a crew of 25. This is not the first yacht the Horten’s have owned, and each of their yachts has been named Carinthia.
6 - Al Mirquab
Built by Peters Schiffbau Wewelsfleth of Germany, this is one of the largest motor yachts ever built. It belongs to Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani. There are 10 suites hosting 24 guests at a time, each featuring a double bedroom, bathroom and living area. There are an additional 55 rooms for the crew. She cost $250 million to build and comes with a cinema, pool, sun deck, jacuzzi and beautiful outdoor bar areas.
5 - Engima
Renowned for her design, Enigma is owned by Aidan Barclay. Aiden is David Barclay’s son, who recently bought the Telegraph newspaper. Enigma is roughly 244-feet or 75-meters and was originally called ECO by her first owner, Mexican mogul Emilio Azcárraga. With her unique design, she can reach speeds of 36 knots! She boasts 8 luxury suites and was built by Blohm & Voss and designed by Martin Francis. She can be refuelled mid-journey thanks to a fuel tanker on board.
4 - Pelorus
$300 million is what Chinese billionaire, Samuel Tak Lee, paid for this superyacht. The name is derived from the Greek word ‘pelorious’ meaning vast. She’s 115-meters or 377-feet long and has a tonnage of 5517 tonnes. She’s changed hands a few times and was once owned by a Saudi businessman, Sheikh Abdul Mohsen Abdulmalik Al-Sheik and Roman Abramovich, the Russian billionaire.
3 - Radiant
Another winning build by Lurssen is Radiant at a cost of $300 million. She is the proud property of Emirate millionaire Abdulla Al Futtaim. Her top speed is 21 knots and she has a fuel capacity of 96,000 gallons. She can accommodate 20 guests and 44 crew members, and she has every amenity you could ever need. There’s a couple of swimming pools, helipad, beach club, massage room, gym, movie theatre and several Jacuzzi’s. Should pirates try and attack her, she is equipped with powerful water cannons so she can defend herself.

You may not feel Serene when you hear this yacht costs $330 million! She is owned by billionaire Mohammed bin Salman and it’s one of the few that have been built in an Italian shipyard. It was custom built for the Russian Vodka tycoon Yuri Shefler. Bill Gates once leased the vessel for $5 million a week! She can host 24 guests and 52 crew members. The technology on board is said to be overwhelming, plus there are multiple swimming pools, including a seawater pool, outdoor cinema, piano room, sauna, beauty centre, conference room and several bars.
