Topeak Shuttle Lever Pro Bike Tire Lever Set Review - feat. Magnetic Storage + Three Lever Set

Показать описание
Topeak’s Shuttle Levers have been part of Topeak’s catalog for over a decade as an affordable and durable tire lever set. In this review, we’ll be looking at the latest iteration of the Shuttle Lever which is the Shuttle Lever Pro. These levers take the familiar black and yellow levers and add a third lever to the set with a magnetic storage system. Retail price of the Shuttle Lever Pro is an attractive $11.95 which includes two short 10.2 x 2 x 2 cm levers and one longer black 14 x 2 x 0.8 cm lever. The short yellow levers include hooks to secure them against spokes while the longer black lever offers additional leverage for stubborn tires.
Topeak has taken the familiar Shuttle Levers and upgraded them with this new Pro variation. These take the Shuttle Lever 1.2 lever dual length lever design and add a third short lever into the mix. Now there are two short 4” yellow levers for getting under stubborn tires and a longer 5.5” black lever for additional leverage. Topeak has refined the shape of the levers by using a wider tapered region which should help sliding under tire beads. All the levers are all constructed from an engineering grade polymer which won’t scratch wheels while still being durable. The center region of the levers have a slight dip cut into them which helps with ergonomics.
One of the key features of these new levers is the magnetic storage design. Each of the levers have an embedded magnetic which holds all the levers together. It’s a clever feature that holds each lever to each other and lets you use the two yellow levers by themselves or all three together. Each of the magnets are fairly strong which helps hold them together while being stored. The two yellow levers also have protruding hooks which help hold the lever in place against spokes which slide into a matching hole in the black lever.
