And now they’ve given the job to someone who has never served. That should never be allowed

One of the few politicians who was committed AND knew what he was doing. Sad to see him go. But I thank him his work. Even though I'm not British I won't forget what he did for the security of Europe. I hope we get more politicians everywhere like him.

I'm sorry to see him go. He's someone who aways put the Soldiers Sailors and Airmen first and helped out with Ukraine to.
I give my best wishes to him for the future.

One of the very few crop of Tory ministers who can say, as he did in the clip, that they are leaving on a high, probably the only one. He, unlike the vast majority of the current Cabinet, clearly had the best interests of his ministerial constituency (the Armed Forces in his case) at heart, rather than his own personal bank balance or power.

Could you please reestablish the regiments an battalions you’ve disbanded please. We might have a decent army then. Thank you

Here’s hoping whoever replaces him follows in what he does by bringing the army, navy and airforce up a notch for numbers. even if it’s mostly just navy and airforce with at least only an extra 20 odd thousand soldiers.

Hr did his best I think. Others would have left us in a worse position but it's none the government's attitudes to defence overall.

Good maybe the next one will actually get funds for our armed forces and not shrink them down

He managed the steady introduction of wokism into the Forces, thus ensuring it's eventual decline. 👍🏼

Not a Brit, but he seems to have done a reasonable job / rearguard action defending the Services.

Ben Wallace having served his country, knows the importance of one having the ability to command the respect from those who you command, this new white shirted bean counter will probably very quickly start to emulate the former Defence Sec Philip Hammond aka hatchet man, who was about as much use as an ash tray on a motor bike with his crystal ball gazing and pie in the sky idea to form a new look British Army based on recruiting 6000+ new reservists, aka week-end warriors, and of course one that wouldn't be fighting a major conventional war in the future, of course today tells a totally different story ?

Sad to see him go. The most competent member of the Govt.

The British military under Wallace fell to 40 working tanks, no spg's, he gave away the majority of their mraps, stocks of artillery rounds, anti tank missiles and stingers, he's gutted the armed forces and yet you have people saying he's done a decent job? What a laugh. 😂

And how long does the average Ukrainian soldier ‘trained’ in the UK for a few weeks last on the front line? 4 weeks 😢, 4 days, no, it’s actually 4 hours.
