FULL REVIEW & GAMEPLAY! ROBLOX FOR THE PS4/PS5! (Roblox Lag Edition)

Since Roblox is now officially out on the Sony PS4 and PS5, I wanted to make a full review video letting you guys know how it performs and how I generally thought about it. I would honestly say it’s alright, but maybe not as smooth/fast as I expected. We test a few games in today’s video like Phantom Forces, Bloxfruits, MM2, Natural Disaster Survival, Obbys and more!

I played Roblox on the PS5 and unlike all the rumors i've heard, it's actually pretty freaking fast and not laggy in the slightest. The only issues I have are the chat system not being a thing on the console and also the fact that many games are still not supporting console yet so you might see xbox controls on games while using ps.

I hope that Roblox games will be optimized for the Ps4 and Ps5 reducing lag issues.

Edit: Many people claim that the PS5 doesn't experience lag, unlike the PS4

Heyo, dedicated Console player here! The treatment of Roblox on console has always been harsh, with the horrible avatar editor / catalog bugs and the lack of private server access and downright disrespectful lack of compatibility, so this being a laggy mess (kinda) doesnt surprise me

I own a PS5 and just installed it the day it came out. My experience with it was completely fine.
The reason why it was slow and laggy for you is maybe, just maybe is cause your using a PS4. I was able to run
games like FRONTLINES and Doors at max graphics settings and it ran at a smooth 60fps with no lag.
Same thing the ROBLOX home page and avatar editor. I hope you look at this Shark! I just wrote this
so not everyone will think its really laggy on a PS5. Thanks!

I have a PS4 and to be honest, its pretty good besides the lag and not being able to enter certain games, the chat I don't really mind, hope roblox actually cares for console

Most of the framerate issues are to do with the CPU, you can play with max graphics and it wont affect your frames. I know it doesn’t make sense, but the performance stats don’t lie

I’m on PS5 and it runs super smooth on the highest quality settings. The only things i don’t like is that there’s no chat, voice chat and shift lock when using keyboard and mouse + loading times are super fast.

For those who need help on playstation of you press touchpad you use the left stick for looking around the gui and press it again to move back around

i have a ps4 and when i play most games it gets really laggy and most games arent supported ( the controls are buggy as well), I hope in the future roblox games will have support for it.

Roblox finally release in PS 4/5, I remember me and my friend in 2020 were like "Imagine if Roblox released on play station we would play it a lot" 3 years later and here we are Roblox released on playstation

I recommend trying out sonic world adventure it's really optimized for a controller and its runs really well on ps5, but I don't know about ps4

It's all really smooth for me on ps5, though the controlls can be a little confusing sometimes

I tried playing some games on the PS4 but I guess the sudden release of Roblox didn’t give a lot of games to optimize for PS4

They also announced on the dev forum, that roblox on xbox will be getting some updates as well!
