GREIFSWALD in former east Germany - a place where I would like to live 👩🎓
Показать описание
I went to a city trip to Greifswald visiting my sister in hospital (all went good). Besides I discovered the city. This city has almost only historical buildungs. See here some of the shopping streets with old renovated houses, except for one.
Greifswald is situated in former east Germany with 60.000 inhabitants, universities and harbour.
This is a city where I would like to live ... maybe sometime in the future.
I highly recommend to visit this place.

Greifswald (Low German Griepswold) is the district town of the Vorpommern-Greifswald district in northeastern Mecklenburg-West Pomerania. The university and Hanseatic city is located on the Ryck River, which flows into the Baltic Sea, on the Greifswalder Bodden between the islands of Rügen and Usedom.
On May 14, 1250, Greifswald was awarded the Lübeck town charter. Founded in 1456, the University of Greifswald with around 10,000 students and around 6,000 employees is the second oldest university in the Baltic Sea region after Rostock.
The city has 59,332 inhabitants (December 31, 2021), making it the fourth largest city in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Together with Stralsund, Greifswald forms one of the four regional centers of the state. The university town is a member of the transnational federation of the Euroregion Pomerania.
