Wouldn't it be better to take 6 ÷ 2 directly instead of logic because CD is already given as 6 seconds and we have to find AD and we got CD=2AD ?

Ma'am it can be done in more easier way as AC is given 6sec
In triangle BCD
Tan60°=BD/CD
√3=BD/CD
CD√3=BD
In triangle BAD
tan30°=BD/AD
1/√3=CD√3/AC+CD (as AD= AC+CD)
CD√3*√3=AC+CD
3CD-CD=AC
2CD=AC
CD=6/2
CD=3sec
