I'm watching all the Eurovisions back and this is one of the most shocking and saddening results so far for me. It was one of the only songs that year that actually caught my attention and that I liked. My favourite of that year by far as most entries from 2011 were mediocre at best and terrible at worst. It holds up today 10 years later much better than more than half the songs performed then. To those saying the staging was bad.. he's literally just walking around and playing with a band as bands usually do when they perform live. Sad to see that this absolute gem wasnt appreciated for what it was

If I gone to be honest, my personal thought is that this should have won, and I think that this song and "Highest heights" with Lovebugs is probably the 2 most underrated songs ever in eurovision. I shouldn't complain though, it's up to everyone to decide which song is the best and I respect that. What makes this song more special to me though is that in 8th grade- start of 9th grade I had it very hard to find true friends, becuase the friends I had wasn't accepting me as a person and were very mean to me if I didn't think like them, like they would just shut me out and create rumors about me. But then I was talking more and more with 2 guys from my class, and one of them is actually just from The Netherlands(the other one being sweden were I come from), and I really felt the difference that I could really be myself. This was the same time I started listening to this song and 3JS overall, and whenever I listen to this I will always remember my 2 friends I got in 9th grade. It's also about the lyrics, its fitting perfect for the time I had in 8th and 9th grade. Thanks for reading, becuase this is one of the most important songs in my life. Dank je weel 3JS!

This song did not deserve to be last. If there is any dutch entry that should have gotten last place it's de Toppers, not them
